Bringing a light weight stroller is crucial, a few of your little one’s favourite toys and books too to keep your baby entertained.

Change of clothing, baby blankets, baby food and snacks, don’t forget to take plenty of breaks to recharge. A baby monitor is another essential item that is required to keep an eye on your baby. Think ahead, have a  contingency plan for what to do in case of an emergency.

Traveling with babies or kids can be a success, fun, – an adventure and a great way to bond.

Travelling with pets can be challenging if you are not ahead of your game, but also a great way to explore the world with your fury friends. Many travel destinations now offer pet friendly services, but it is vital to do your research to see what is available. Consider the option that your pet is accompanying you as an emotional support animal, this a new concept that many travel destinations /airlines are embracing. 

Ensure  that your pet is up to date on all of their vaccinations and has a current health certificate. Include all your pets necessary pet supplies such as pet carrier, food, water, a leash, blanket, travel bed. You should also bring along any medications that your pet may need. If you are camping, make sure that you have a safe and comfortable place for your pet to sleep. 

Be prepared for any unexpected situations that may arise, such as having a plan for what to do if your pet gets lost or injured. 

Make Sure Your Pet is Comfortable, has plenty of space to move around in their carrier and that they have access to food and water. If you’re travelling by car, make sure to take regular breaks so your pet can stretch their legs. Your pet should also be microchipped.

If your pet is staying at home, research what your best options are on how they will be taken care of whilst you are away.
